Our weekend plus Paden's first day out on the swingset

So we had a VERY busy weekend...starting with Friday we had Andrew's Holiday Party for the ship. It started at 7:00 p.m. and it was at the Renaissance Hotel in Old Towne Portsmouth. The room was decorated nicely and they had little appetizers set up as well as a cash bar. The entertainment was a local Comedian/Magician, Scott Wagoner. He did a great job and was pretty funny!
After the party ended around 11:00 we headed back home, it was well past Paden's bed time! It was nice to get out and meet some of the wives and some of the people that Andrew works with on a daily basis.
Saturday we were expecting the Benyo grandparents to head down along with Aunt Tori. They arrived around 11:00, just in time for lunch. We enjoyed a nice HOT bowl of gumbo, that Andrew and I had made the night before. We all kind of just hung out for the afternoon and then the football games were on. We just had some little finger snack foods for dinner and watched the football games. It was a nice relaxing night with the Benyos. Paden also tried "puffs" for the first time! He was such a big boy sitting in his chair with his juice cup and his little snack for the night!

Sunday we got up fairly early and ended out to breakfast at the Silver Diner before they headed back home. Paden got to chew on a piece of toast for the first time! He loved sitting the high chair like a big boy!
After they headed out, we went back to the house for the EAGLES GAME!! They of course WON!
Today, Andrew headed to work and it was just Paden and I. We had big plans for today. He woke up around 9:00, got his normal morning bottle and then I decided to try to do some art work with him.
He LOVED it! We took a trip after lunch to Target to get some things and ended up getting Paden some new dinners. Tonight he will be trying " chicken noodle dinner" for the first time! After nap time we even went to the library to check out some new books. And when Dad came home we went outside for some fresh air. Paden tried out the swing on the swing set for the first time! (today he did a lot of things for the first time!!!!)
